It's time to move on to the back of the picnic quilt! I've been collecting used jeans for a while to use for the back and I am so glad to be at the point where I'm ready to put them to use! I thought it would be cool to have "before" pictures of the pile of jeans and then, when it's done, take an "after" photo what they become. I spent most of yesterday afternoon chopping these up. WIP Wednesday: Board Games!
Earlier this week, I took all the pieces of my picnic quilt out to my "design wall". So close to being a completed top! I just received my shipment of Essex linen in Flax to use for the middle section. I think it will give it a nice break from the busyness of the top and bottom panels. I had to search WAY back in the archives to find a post about this Picnic Quilt. It has long been in my head and I've been intimidated by it.
