Description
Fabric Requirements:
(25) Fat Quarters (each fat quarter will make 1 large background hexagon, 2 side borders, 6 EPP flower petals, and 1 EPP flower center). If you plan to fussy cut, you’ll need more fabric. This pattern assumes a fat quarter is 18″ x 21″.
Binding: 1/2 yard
Backing: 4 yards (this gives you a 4″ overage on all sides)
Other Supplies Needed:
Basic EPP supplies: Fabric Glue Stick; Lightweight Thread; Needle; and Wonder Clips.
If buying pre-cut EPP papers, you’ll need: (175) 1 ¾” hexagons. You can buy fewer papers if you thread baste/use glue sparingly and re-use templates.
You will need access to a printer, cardstock, and scissors (paper use) for the included Half-Hexagon Template PDF. You will also need these supplies if printing your own EPP pieces.
This quilt is English Paper Pieced (EPP), meaning it is sewn together by hand using paper pieces wrapped in fabric. This pattern assumes the quilter has some basic quilting knowledge.
Pattern was tech edited by Kacey Crutchfield.
