Reindeer Ridge Quilt Along – Month 8 – Quilting
Hello quilt along friends! We've reached our 8th and final month of the quilt along! It's been so much fun working on this quilt along with you all this year. I have loved seeing your versions coming together!! Last month we finished up our quilt tops! This is my finished quilt top below. It is much taller than I realized, and even my 6'4" quilt helper couldn't keep it off the ground! :) Now that our quilt tops are finished, it's time to think about how to quilt them. I would say this … [Read more...]
Reindeer Ridge Quilt Along – Month 7 – Quilt Assembly
Hey there quilt along friends! This is the month where it all comes together! Time for quilt assembly! Reindeer Ridge Quilt Along – Month 6 – Tree or Snowflake and Center Panel Assembly

It makes the quilt even more versatile in terms of theme and design. The cover quilt for this pattern, for example, uses a tree center and … [Read more...]
Reindeer Ridge Quilt Along – Month 5 – Reindeer

If you don't want to make the entire quilt, I also think these would make really cool pillows. This month builds upon some skills we've already done, but it's a little bit different in terms of piecing, so I'll walk you through it a bit. This section is not hard to sew, but requires lots of paying attention. It is easy to get pieces flipped the … [Read more...]
Reindeer Ridge Quilt Along – Month 4 – Flying Geese and Plus blocks
Happy April friends!! Welcome to month 4 of the Reindeer Ridge quilt along. I hope your quilt sections have been coming together without issue! Last month's fair isle chains were a big one. This month we are working on section 4, flying geese, and section 5, plus blocks. These should be a lot faster to get through! Below I have a few tips on each section, along with a video walking you through how to make 4 at a time flying geese. These blocks are pretty straight forward, so there's not a lot to … [Read more...]
