Inspired by traditional double wedding ring quilts, I wanted to explore adding and modifying curved shapes to put my own spin on this classic quilt. I drew out the design, scanned it into my computer, and then created paper pIeces to put the blocks together. What started out as an experiment quickly turned into an obsession! I spent 6 months hand piecing and quilting Double Ruby Ring. It is truly special knowing each part of a quilt so well.
